Historic town. John Steele was the paratrooper whose chute was stuck on the church spire. Airborne museum in the vicinity but close at year end.

Liberated by US Airborne on D Day; good starting point for a battlefield tour of the area. Visit the Airborne Museum & go to the C47 Cafe for a drink/snack.
