The whole CTA train system needs remodeling. No elevators no escalators, three flights of stairs nothing to block the wind and cold air on platforms smh!!!

The original Garfield station is the oldest station facility on the "L", with the station house dating from 1892.

Free to take the Green Line or re-routed Red Line from here, to make up for how inconvenient it is that so much of the Red Line is closed for 6 months.

Go online and get the Greenline Garfield stop train schedule. It is pretty accurate and cuts down on the waiting time.
