After 5:pm the life guards leave and you can bring balls and boogie boards into the water. They don't allow this while the life guards are there.

I like Jennings much better than Penfield, less crowded and more space to sprawl out

Beautiful and large beach. Ive Never seen it too crowded and most importantly, never had any issues with finding a nice relaxing spot to sit and catch some rays. I go to this beach almost once a week!
