Ella K. McClatchy Library
The Ella K. McClatchy Library became a library in 1940 after Eleanor McClatchy & Charlotte Maloney presented it to the City of Sacramento as a memorial to their mother. The building was designed by architect Rudolph Adam Herold in the early 1900s for Charles and Ella McClatchy and their family.

North Natomas Library

Southgate Library
Southgate Library has a large collection of world language materials in Vietnamese, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, & Hmong. The Kids’ Place is a developmentally appropriate learning space for very young children (ages 0 to 5 years) and their parents.

Colonial Heights Library
Colonial Heights is a welcoming community library with free programs for kids, teens, & adults. Here, you can pick up items you have requested, check out books, movies, music, & more. We also have free & open Wi-Fi 24 hours a day, a picture window looking out onto greenery, & tons of natural light!

Central Library
The Central Library is the main library for the Sacramento Public Library system. Central provides local history in the Sacramento Room, wi-fi, and telephone reference @ 264-2920. It contains extensive genealogy and business information in addition to a comprehensive magazine collection.

Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library
Located next to the School of Engineering and Sciences, Sacramento's newest branch welcomes you into their community space. Browse our shelves for the perfect books, linger over magazines, use the free wi-fi, or use one of our 20 library laptops. We even have special spaces for toddlers and teens.

McKinley Library

North Sacramento-Hagginwood Library
The N.Sacramento Library has approximately 42,000 items which include a growing Spanish and Russian language collection. This branch also has seven Internet computers for public use.
