Years I been back and too. To York Minster I got some very old images I took of the 1984 fire when lightening hit the roof. It was sad to see all the damage done that day. Well worth money to view it

Beautiful church inside and out - definitely a must to see. Compared to all of the decorative churches from around Europe. Always a queue but it moves fast. Landmark scenic

The extra £5 to go up the tower is definitely worth it - beautiful views. The Minster itself is of course wonderful.
