The vegetarian mushroom tacos are little slices of heaven. Perfectly spicy. Add the guacamole. 3 is needed if you're hangry. Cornmeal fries, eh.

I am a bit of a weenie when it comes to spicy foods so I can't really handle the chicken or carne asada tacos. But the carnita tacos are perfect! Love the cilantro, raw onion, salsa and pulled pork!!!

best eaten in - their corn tortillas get soggy very quickly but are oh so good. mushrooms are surprisingly excellent if you have veg friends in tow.

Three tacos is good as a meal for one. Honestly they all taste pretty similar so choose for your favorite meat / texture (pulled pork vs grilled chicken) and just get 3 of the same with your Modelo

I like the Carne Asada tacos best! The salsa is awesome with the chips. The masa fries are good but it's too similar to the tortilla used in the taco. Definitely the best taco in the east village!!

Ask for the off-the-menu Gorgon - a supersize fresh-masa tortilla deep-fried to a delicate crisp, then stuffed with guacamole, carne asada, serrano-chile crema, onion, and cilantro

Seriously awesome tacos - there's only 5 types to choose from but they're all delicious, and there's something for everyone. Don't pass on the chips and guac either though!

If you're veggie, go for the mushroom tacos they are amazing. Steer clear of the rice and beans though as they're made with pork fat.

Order the Gorgon - fried masa "taco" with crane asada, guac and crema. Not on the menu, but naughty and delicious...One is plenty!

Carne Asada + guac was terrific! Cilantro and onions are mega fresh and the handmade corn tortillas are out of this world. 3+ tacos are needed for it to feel like dinner but I'm just a hungry dude.
