Gutted to find out today (3rd Feb 2019) that the pub closed in Jan 1st 2019. Very sad indeed, but I hope someone buys it and reopens it soon.

Lovely pub in the middle of the common, friendly staff and very good food. Dog friendly outside they can also enjoy the good air and food. During weekend they run bbq outside

I ordered the Telegraph Burger. I have been all over the world and this place has the worst burgers I know. Service is poor here.

Another place that offers poor lager selection, adequate but not amazing food, charges premium prices then goes "We don't take Amex" as you try to pay. It's 2018. I expect a lot better for the price.

A big pub surrounded by trees (almost like a jungle!). It's perfect for big groups. Great service.

Haphazard service, mediocre food, and depressing decor. What a wasted opportunity this pub is. Avoid.
